He's already probably done enough for a Hall Of Fame induction. People say that Marquez was robbed against him on here all the time- he wasn't. It was a close fight and a few Marquez fans probably feel he was robbed because they scored ALL the close rounds for Marquez and everyone else has just jumped on the bandwagon who hasn't seen it. However if you search the internet for not basis journalist reports, most say it was close but John was the rightful winner- ***********.fightreport.net/?p=485 ********boxrec.com/media/index.php/Chris_John_vs._Juan_Manuel_Marquez
Not totally sold on either of them to be honest- both solid fighters but wouldn't beat the top guys of the division.
They had a great fight one against the other at 168, chilemba won, but was also dropped during the fight. Chilemba went on drawing first and then losing to tony bellew at 175. The draw should have been a win really. I thought he was fairly superior to bellew, but lost the second fight clearly, got outworked, maybe lack of motivation? Vlasov is very good I think he is like 6' 3'' and fights like Pirog in a slick style, very intelligent fighter, with fairly heavy hands too. He should do well in the future at supermiddleweight. He should fight more often though
Fair do's in fairness when I said that I couldn't see Chilemba beating the top guys, I'd actually give him a good chance against Stevenson along with the likes of Cloud and Pascal, but no so much against Hopkins, Dawson and Kovalev.
Korobov is ready for top 15-20 guys now. No more stalling for him. He should look to fight the likes of the Proska- Mora
Going back to the OP, he's had what 5 or 6 fights and you think he can beat one of the top guys now likes Uchiyama and Mendez? :think
This. Noaya Inoue is a future P4P star, the best youngster in the sport If pushed for another choice, John Karl Sosa. And ACTUALLY Yuki Sano was NEVER a Japanese champion (the fight on fuji tv WAS very impressive though)
He'll fight for one in his next 2. Boxing prospect, if he's on here, will give you a massive list of reasons why. Ohasi said he could tie the Muangsurin record, seems like 5 fights is likely though to BEAT Ioka's national record.
asianboxing.weebly.com/naoya-inoue.html They have a great Noaya Inoue piece on Asian boxing though the link doesn't work. Sorry folks.
