In all honesty, Broner won. He landed the harder better punches. However if Paulie could have done what he did in the first 4 rounds for 12 rounds, he would have won.

Paulie's post fight interview was brilliant.

On point with everything, lots of class and didn't fall for Gray's (fixed fight) trap.

A great fighter and media performer!

A lot of rds Broner "won" were due to activity during the last seconds of the round! IMHO, not enough to win a whole rd!!

The Tom Schreck scorecard is always suspect just like Melvina Lathan. The fairest judges I know are Steve Weisfield and Julie Lederman. I usually agree with their scorecards.

So what rounds did Paulie win? Besides the 1,2,4 and maybe 10.

The pros aren't scored like the amateurs. There are no button clickers. Activity isn't the be-all end-all criteria. The quality of punches and their rate of accuracy mean as much or more than # landed. (let alone # thrown, which is almost meaningless where scoring is concerned)

I think Paulie's body language might had played a large part in the decision. Broner was never shook or off-balance, while Paulie was off balance multiple times. his head was snapped back by Broner's punches a lot.

sadly, there are more "suspect, as you put them, judges than the fair ones who actually know how to score a fight :-(

So activity wins rounds? I saw Paulie throwing a shyt load of punches, but nearly all landed on arms, shoulders, etc....Broner landed a high percentage of clean punches although he did throw fewer he did land "more" meaningful punches.
