Broner wont have a rematch. He lost this fight and if you think he won it was really by the skin of his teeth. He wont fight Paulie again.

Also why did he diss Paulie after Paulie showed sportsmanship? Saying he took his girl? That is something Floyd would not do, that is personal.

Roy Jones had genuine talent and sportsmanship. When Roy kicked peoples ass like Vinny Paz he did not say afterwards that he took his girl. Think about what happened and what Broner said, Broner is ruthless and Roy is not.

So, slapping a guys arms should win you a fight? It's hard to win a fight when zero of the punches are effective. It's nice to see that this board is still full of angry little kids!

Broner is a *****, who I hope gets his comeuppance one day soon, but I thought he won this fight clearly. Also Broner should have lost points on 2 occassions. Paulie's light punches didn't land as much as some seem to think, and were no where near as damaging as Broner's heavier damaging punches. It's not the amateurs where you simply tally punches. Paulie battled his ass off and made the fight close, but sfter winning the 1st 3, he was on the run for the most part. And I was rooting for Malignaggi.

People who talk about "power" shots are talking out of their asses. How the hell do you know if a shot has power on it? Neither man went down tonight, and neither man was even hurt, so that means no one landed any power shots. So you have to look at overall punches thrown and landed. Then you have to look at defense and ring generalship. If you score the fight by the rulebook, you have to give it to Malignaggi.

Based on what? Punching in the arms, elbows and gloves? Who landed the cleaner effective blows? Not Paulie!! Come on dude, Paulie did everything he had to do to not get KTFO in his backyard and he was successful at that. In no universe did PM win this fight. I will agree 117-111 wasn't right, but 116-112, 115-113 are good scores IMO..

So paulie showed better defense than Broner? Also do you think Paulie controlled the tempo and location (ring generalship)?
