    This.

To me, if any of those scores were fixed, it was the hometown Paulie score.

Agreed. Paulie never really committed to his offense after the 4th or 5th round. Seemed more like a deterrent to Broner who had started to open up. His shots were getting lighter and lighter, and he was getting tagged in the exchanges. He showed alot of heart, but he lost. He knew it. Even said it while they were unwrapping his hands.

However, Broner should have lost points 2x. Once at least.(the kick to Paulie's onions)

Victor Ortreez would have crushed both of them into the Underworld which they came!

No, but I did have it a 114-114 draw. No problem with any score 115-113 either way, but even 116-112 to Broner seems like a stretch, not the worst thing ever, but a little bit of unfair favoritism to what he was doing.

Malignaggi won 1-2 and 4 without a doubt because of the activity, but lets be honest, his punches had no effect on Broner.

He was aiming for the chest 90% of the time because he was scared.

I don't get how people say stuff like "7-5 is ok, 8-4 iffy, 9-3 a disgrace" etc

You really need to clarify which rounds you think were clear to each guy. In theory a really close fight could be 12-0 because one guy just keeps narrowly winning each round. There's no obligation to give each guy an equal number of close rounds.

e.g. you might think Paulie clearly won 3 rounds, Broner won 6, and then there were 3 really close rounds, but Broner just narrowly won each of them. Is that so bad?

I had it 115-113 for Broner. Some rounds were tougher to score, but I thought Broner definitely won the fight.

    It means:

I felt each guy pretty clearly won 5 rounds each. Therefore, scoring in a way which give either of them less than 4 rounds isn't a fair or good score.

It is totally possible and reasonable for someone to feel the way you dismiss.

I gave Paulie 1, 2, 4, 6, 12, and one round between 6 and 12 I am pretty sure it was the 10th round. There were a couple of those I felt were close, just as I thought there were a couple rounds I gave to Broner that were close. Unless you change up what you value to what extents on a round by round basis, it is totally fair of me to say that anything wider than 7-5 is iffy.

    7-5 either way is acceptable.

I gave Malignaggi the first 5 rounds and the 10th to score it a draw.

Was pretty clear to see to me in the early rounds Malignaggi was working hard and was going to gas.
Was suprised Broner was'nt able to inflict more damage on a badly faded Malignaggi.

    Broner exposed!

I was at the fight, 8 rows back, and didn't score it. But I thought Paulie had won it. I can also tell you that from about the 6th round on, the Broner fans around me - and there were many - got very quiet.
