Am I the only one here who agrees with 117-111?

I gave round 10 to Malignaggi, but I don't think 117-111 was that bad. AB did win the fight convincingly after round 4.

Paulie did clearly win rounds 1, 2 and 4. rounds 3, 5, 10, 11 and 12 could have gone either way.

Any 117-111 score card is extremely biased towards Broner.

It could be argued either way. I could see scoring 3, 5, and 10 even, but I thought 11 and 12 were AB rounds.

Rounds 3 and 5 could've gone either way? 5 was a complete blowout and 3 was dead even statistically with Broner landing several shots that snapped Paulie's head back and made him retreat. 11 I thought was also a clear Broner round. I thought if there was any rounds at all you could make an argument that Paulie won theyd be 10 and 12, but by round 12 Broner was on cruise control because he had so clearly won the fight.

Paulie's punches were totally ineffective, if your score punches that land everywhere but the head or body, Paulie wins in a landslide, but the call them effective punches for a reason and Broner clearly landed the more effective punches.

I don't put too much on the scoring as long as the right guy wins, which in this case was Broner. Paulie didn't help his case by going backwards the entire fight, it gives the illusion that he was the inferior fighter, which in this case he was.

In my opinion there's no controversy and it was far from a robbery.

None. That wasn't my point. He was throwing volume punches and out working Broner. I was attacking the argument that power punches should have won Broner the fight. If he was hurting Paulie then I would say he should have won but his power punches were not effective. After all, a power punch is just any punch besides a jab, it doesn't have to be "powerful" and is often misleading. Paulie's pace and output should have been enough to win him the fight. He fought his fight and neutralized Broner.

I agree. I didn't score round 3 and 5 even, I thought AB won them, but I could see how someone scored 3 even. Or 10. I gave 10 to Paulie, but yeah i thought 11 and 12 Broner won clearly. You could tell Paulie was just trying to survice in the 12th. Something was hurting, either his head or his hand, maybe both.

The 117-111 is about right. Didn't bother to score felt it was something like 116-112. The fight was competitive but Broner was winning based on clean effective punching.

What are you talking about. In round 3, he stumbled on a left hook at the begin of the round and received all the hard clean shots.

It was no more a disgrace than someone having Paulie winning.
