MONEY is the GOAT at 130,I think the thing is a lot of fans that are new to the sport just know him from 147.At 130 he was a destroyer.

Wow ****ing really? This is not even a question worth asking. Pretty Boy was 100x the fighter Broner is. Faster speed, better footwork, better defense, better power, better combos, better countering, etc..

Well his destruction of Chico pretty much solidified him as an ATG. At least it did for me. It was not so much his resume, but I knew at that point he had the skills to be on that level.

Wasn't he a bit older than 23 when he fought Chico?

However, in my opinion, at 23 Broner has the better resume but Floyd's ability was on a different level.

Better resume? he hasn't really beaten anybody and his world title at 130 is a joke

I would put Alexis Arguello there with Floyd at 130. Not saying he would win but it would've been good when both are at their best. Arguello was a bit more mobile at the lighter weights and had a special quality much like Floyd did at 130-140

Floyd was fighting top opposition at 23. Broner is under Al Haymon protective services at 23.

we'll also see if he can have mayweather longevity. he won't. he's an exciting fighter but mayweather was special at 130-140 :good

Which is why I said Floyd's ability was on a different level. I only say Broner's resume appears better is because he has won 3 world titles at this age as opposed to what Floyd won in terms of belts.

I agree that world titles today are very fragmented and almost anyone half decent can win one, but that's a different topic. So in saying that, Broner perhaps has the better resume. But in terms of actual skill, I don't see much a comparison. Understand?

You can look at resume in 2 ways: belts collected, and fighters beaten. Soto is a multi division champ, but you wouldn't say he has a great resume. Broner's 3 belts are not worth Floyd's first belt at 130

    Mayweather's resume @ 23 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Broner's resume @ 23

Seriously, anyone who thinks that it is close is fooling themselves something fierce.

Broner has no class. Ignorant, low life, degenerate.

Yes, but who cares about that really? Noone in here actually believes boxers (or pro athletes in general) are role models. Please...spare us.

If anything it is good entertainment. Especially the part with him saying he 'tapped Jessica' during their match. You know Paulie was butthurt about losing his chic.

You know a 130lb Pacman could have done it. I would have stilled picked Pretty Boy btw, but he was probably the only one. Terrible would have gave him hell too.
