Paulie has never been bad. To get to where he has without numbing power speaks for itself. But gutter snipe,or not, Broner's a beast, with a mean disposition, who cracks with both hands.

If he doesn't do something anti-social that gets him killed or jailed, he'll headline PPV 'n register big numbers, if only from those who wanna see him humbled.

    Damned straight.:deal

Magic Man proved last night Adrianna is not even on the level of Khan or Hatton.

Props to Paulie for exposing this worthless pile of human excrement:twisted:

I was thinking stoppage in the middle rounds. I never expected to see a competitive fight which could have gone Paulie's way...

Aside from no class in the post-fight interview, what was exposed 'bout Broner?

I thought Broner would win more easily, possibly with a TKO with ref or Paulie's corner stopping it as he took punishment. I didn't actually see the fight but obviously going on whats been said Paulie did quite a bit better than I expected.

 Gotta say it, that was a baaaaad pick and I can't believe how many people were making it. Respect though :good

The fight was closer than I had thought, but I figured there was no way the fight would end inside the distance. Paulie has the kind of style to not take punishment against Broner, and even though Broner was able to land he wasn't landing extremely hard due to Paulie's defense/footwork. Add in the fact that Paulie weighed as much or more than Broner, which is the first time Broner has had to deal with that. Kid's used to picking on smaller guys who can't punch. Now they've moved him on to guys the same size that can't punch.

Hey John, I miss our movie conversations. Please come and continue them!

Good competitive fight, I'm glad it turned out more exciting than I anticipated.

Nothing that hasn't been exposed before. Starts slow, easy to hit, plodding footwork, only powerful against smaller opponents. Could see this from the PDL and Quintero fights. On the positive side, Broner has flashy offense that's fun to watch and he lets it fly. But like Khan, his limitations and the fact that he's used to fighting grossly overmatched opponents to compensate for those limitations will lead to him losing when he's released into the shark tank. As long as they keep picking opponents for him he'll probably be fine, but once he's forced to take on all comers he's gonna be in for it.

Well I'm sure we can have great many conversations where there is a lounge.

That he's trying to be Floyd Mayweather, and will come nowhere close. And for the record I'm no Mayweather fan.

Also put up a couple of things that bothered me:

    1. Boxing is becoming showbusiness.

    2. The jury was rigged. 117-111? Come on....

Never questioned Malignaggi's toughness, but I did expect Broner to find him with more telling blows than he caught Malignaggi with last night.

I was one that expected Broner or anyone for that matter thats p4p material to tee off on Malignaggi .
The fact that Broner could'nt speaks more to Broners quality than Malignaggi's, though Malignaggi certainly should be commended for the brave effort he gave.
Despite gassing, he stuck to the gameplan of sticking the jab in multiples and finding the open creece to the body while Broner was more concerned with covering up upstair.

Broner now has a problem. He can easily be outworked and outboxed.

Ricky Hatton is not an elite boxer and outboxed Malignaggi who could never mount even a mole hill against Hatton.
That should say alot about Broner's quality as a boxer.

I'm with you JG. Happy to eat crow as well.
Not so easy to figure out how good a fighter being hyped up really is unitil he begins to face a little quality.

Having seen what I saw last night, cant wait to see if Broner man's up and faces a quality capable opponent at 140/147 lbs.
Even the 2nd tier like Victor Ortiz and Andre Berto imo dismantle Broner after what I saw last night.

Just a matter of time now before Broner is labeled a "never was."

Its going to end badly for Broner with him sunk in a real gutter homeless and friendless!

The guy is a ****ing joke.

Guys with the mental characteristics of Broner usually dont live to see middle age.
    Sad but true!

I thought Broner was going to pummel him and stop him rounds 8-10. Boy was I wrong.

I wouldn't have believed a genie if one appeared to me before the fight and said that Paulie was going to win 5 rounds. I would have spat on his face.

Anybody that thought Broner would knock Paulie out didn't see the Paulie and Cotto fight. Paulie was up for this fight and getting stopped was not an option for him. Anybody that proclaims Broner to be a heavy hitter haven't been watching Broners fights. The majority of his stops have came after heavy punishment and he was jumping two weight classes. Anybody who thought that Paulie couldn't win rounds had no respect for Paulie's skills and should eat crow because that's premeditated stupidity. Paulie is a celebrated loser, just like Cotto and Judah.
