Lucas matthysse is the best fight for anyone 140-147 right now imo

 

It's not the best fight for anyone because everyone will duck him. Alto he's gaining some steam, it's a high risk low reward type fight.

 

As much as I like boosting up fighters, you guys need to stop this.

Lucas Matthysse is not scaring any of the top fighters, he is a horrible technician who can punch, thats it.

I have no problem giving him his victories, but there was clearly something wrong with that Peterson he fought (off his juice?), just because he knocked out that guy doesn't make him suddenly dangerous.

Lucas Matthysse is like a lite version of Marcus Maidana, he essentially is Maidana with just less wear...

 

You forgot to include Broner as a possible opponent for Floyd :deal

 

I told the whole board that the Canelo fight was guaranteed because no other fight could possibly sell. Showtime sold 970k ppv and lost $12m...and sure the **** this fight was signed.

Showtime and GBP proved they call the shots and not floyd.


That being said if floyd gets by canelo the only marketable fight is lucas mattyhsse if he knocks out garcia impressively.
But the most likely result is a canelo rematch....there arent many options.

 

GBP did not call the shots,it just makes sense financially as well for both parties..

 

There's still Ortiz, if he can string a few wins together over quality opposition. I think there's still an interest in this fight.

 

Broner isn't fighting anyone dangerous in his next match despite letting us vote.

It will be either Mosley, Josesito Lopez or a rematch with Malgnaggi.

 

Broner will fight Maidana. I really believe he will. If not, I'll be disappointed.
