Cortez showed that he was just another idiot Yank by trying to help out a fighter, who palpably didn't need helping. Mayweather had an answer for everything Hatton tried, but the ******ed Yank Cortez, still couldn't keep his big nose out of it, and let them fight for the first 4 rounds.

    Dumb fvck Cortez.

Cortez did his job. Don't act like he changed the outcome of the fight. He didnt.

Cortez didn't change the outcome of the fight, as the previous poster clearly stated. Mayweather didn't need any help, he could handle Hatton on the inside, however, Cortez was sometimes jumping in to split the fighters before they were barely touching....yet he allowed it in the Hatton v Castillo fight.

If you cant be consistent as a referee you shouldnt be allowed to do the job, consistency is the key.

Your problem is you need to learn to read what people write, as opposed to assuming what people think. Everyone and his dog knows that Mayweather was always going to win the fight, with the obvious exception of the hopeless Yank Cortez, which was why he wasn't prepared to allow Hatton to fight on the inside for the first 4 rounds.

Your opinion is neither here nor there, just watch the first part of the fight again, and let your eyes see what Cortez ACTUALLY does.

I wish Cortez would have allowed more inside fighting. Hatton would have been out of there quicker. Floyd beat him up on the inside and broke him down. Rd. 8 would of happened a lot earlier.
