I'm with you on this issue. This is a clear duck by Wlad no matter how you look at it. What happend in the past does not change that fact. Notice the fight is still not final? I knew the second I heard Povetkin won the bid the fight would not happen. Wlad has had four pathetic easy fights in a row and now this. I wonder who Wlad will end up fighting? I promise it will be a non risky fight as always. Once again he will claim no one will fight him so he is forced to fight a tomato can to stay busy. Its getting old fast.

I hope that is the case. If not he is going to come off looking bad. Surely he didn't think he could fool fans into thinking 80/20 was reasonable. I really think Fury has some deep mental problems. In his mind he thinks he is the biggest draw in boxing. Or maybe he sees Wlad with the belts taking easy fights so he thinks he can do the same. If he was not going to fight Haye he should have just fought unheard of Pulev. I'm starting to wonder if any good heavyweight match ups with ever happen again.

 

Man get off Wlads balls we all know why you defend him. He ducked Chisora not to long ago and now he is ducking Povetkin. He is ducking Povetkin because he is not in control. It has nothing to do with who beats who but Povetkin will not be as easy as guys like Mormeck and Wach. There is no excuse for WLad getting 4 easy fights with trash cans in a row. Wlad also ducked Purity and Sanders in rematches choosing to let his better chin brother do it for him. Your wacky claiming Wlad has not ducked fighters when he clearly has. His ducking of CHisora was one of the most pathetic ducks I've ever seen. Claiming he hurt his shoulder to pull out of the fight and then caught on the golf course the next day.

Heard Wlad has a fight ready to go for September and i dont see what legit contender could be available. When he announces the fight is off he'll become the biggest laughing stock in boxing and he brought it all on himself. He has no interest whatsoever being in competative fights. If thats the way he wants it , his belts should be taken away. Its his duty as champ to deliver the big fights.

 

Given all the politics and money moves, I find it laughable that Wlad ducked Chisora or Pov. His past prime older brother had little trouble w/Chisora. Wlad would pot shot Del Boy all nite long until the opening for a big right presented itself. Easy UD or KO vs Chisora. Pov, now that Wlad is getting up in age himself might be tougher. Unless Wlad gets old "overnite" he should beat Pov.

Joe Louis and Ali had many easy fights/defenses. Why the double standard for Wlad? :huh
