Most sicilians have moorish blood which is arab and a little bit of african, so yes. Please do not confuse the island of sicilily with mainland italy though.
If 7-5 is acceptable, then he wins the fight. And despite what you may think about "taking the title" if he wins the fight he wins the title. period.
paulie as a good chin did throw nice combination but he got ****ing owned. He had nothing against the kid.
Why I am even responding to a total idiot like you is beyond me. No two fights are the same first of all. What the **** does Hopkins vs Dawson and Hopkins vs Calzaghe have to do with Broner vs Malignaggi? Absolutely nothing! Secondly, I score fights as they should be scored and it's based on the following: Clean Punching Defense Effective Aggression Ring Generalship That is the proper criteria for scoring rounds. That's it. If you want to bring up other fights, that have absolutely zero bearing on Malignaggi vs Broner, whatever. Just don't sit there and try to act like you are making a point. You literally said nothing. If you're going to respond to my posts, have some substance, or stfu.
Malignaggi won the early rounds on pure activity as Broner did basically nothing. Its like Malignaggi said, unless you're the fighter thats being backed politically, a judge is'nt going to give you 5 rounds straight unless you've battered him from pillar to post. Sad but true, it happens all the time in boxing. Past the 6th round I only saw Malignaggi win the 10th on my scorecard and even that was razor close. 6-6 on my card. The fight was close that it could go either way. 9 to 3 is that one judge had it is unacceptable. The only way to score this fight 9-3 is to not accept Malignaggi's work to the body as scoring punches.
The only judge that had a perfect scorecard was the 117-111 score. In other words, another judge agreed with him on his scoring in all 12 rounds. The guy who scored it for Paulie? All alone in his view for 4 rounds...... Paulie did not sweep the first 4 rounds either, he CLEARLY lost the 3rd round. All 3 judges agreed and up to that point their cards were identical: 3 rounds to 1, Malignaggi. And no, Malignaggi was not scoring to the body. Broner had a nice shell working for him. "Activity" is not a scoring criteria in boxing as many on these forums seem to indicate based on their scorecards. The bolded illustrates the main problem here: People are counting shots to the arms, elbows and back as "scoring blows to the body." Completely wrong. Besides, Broner out-landed Paulie overall, and crushed him in power shots landed.
