So @AdrienBroner continues to rack up good ratings. In @ShoSports debut, he had peak of 1.3 million viewers. All three fights averaged 890k

Pauli won that fight. Broner is a fraud. It was a set up fight for Broner, they knew that judges were for Broner.

since it's a free show for subscribers, it ain't really the amount of people that watched the fight. what showtime wants is to attract new subscribers but with broner's brash and obnoxious personality, i think it's a hard sell.

It's a hard sell, but he had more viewers than Canelo/Trout on the same network?

it may just be an increasing trend, where people are more knowledgeable about boxing being on Showtime as time goes on

what i meant by a hard sell was with showtime using broner to attract new subscribers.

exciting fighter, true...but with his antics and personality, i don't think a lot lot of subscribers are going to be signing up with showtime because of broner.

canelo meanwhile has more potential of getting more subscribers because of his demographics.

i ain't arguing about the numbers but with showtime and hbo, it's about keeping who they have and getting new subscribers.

Channel 5 is free pal, so it has a potential audience of the while of the UK...

Showtime I think has about 20 milli subscribers

Stephen Espinoza from Showtime and Steve Kim both say Nielsen doesn't include non-subscribers when releasing ratings.
