Saying he has the lot is a bit OTT. Chins standing up at domestic level does not equate to having a good chin. Mild stamina issues in a fighter competing at domestic level will become a major issue at world level. Seen it before in our prospects too many times.

  3. Yeah having the lot is a bit of a big statement I agree

I believe he has the fundamentals to go a lot further
At world level I think he will be fast enough and skilled enough, but strength and stamina are still to be proven for me
The difference between British and commenwealth and world is huge but whereas the likes of Brian rose are above that level but will struggle to succedd at the higher tier,I think it's clear to see that Saunders and frankie Gavin are ability wise comfortable on the world stage now we just need the necessary tests of adversity that every prospect will face

Going on his last couple of fights I dont think Saunders will amount to much,if your struggling with guys like Nick Blackwell how do you deal with someone like GGG.

  7. He is how old,23

He is doing just fine if you compare him to other Brits who fought at world level
The osullivan and Ryder fights are what he needs

I agree with your comments there about being pushed on the way up. All the top fighters have had tough fights on the way up. It's what you take away from them fights that count. He's great prospect and I'm looking forward seeing him in with O'Sullivan and Ryder. I don't know about his future at super middle, i'd like to see him stay at middleweight for the time being.

Saunders has a great range of shots and skills.

Sadly he wont go further than European level.

Well that's not a bad level to get to. He can already say he's British champion. British and European champion! I'd consider that an accomplishment.

Eddie would have had him in a final eliminator by now.
