    You bring up Cotto so you can deflect from Broner, put up a real argument for your boy other than, Burns ran twice.

    If you want to discuss Cotto then make a thread disecting his resume.

    It's not deflecting at all. The standard you apply to Broner, has to apply to all fighters. Otherwise, it's pretty clear that your criticisms are simply based off a personal bias. Your argument is baffling to me. I fail to understand how Broner is not a real champ but Burns is despite Broner beating a highly rated fighter in DeMarco for his LW title and despite Burns blatantly ducking Broner when Broner tried to fight him afterwards. Let's also not forget that Broner only fought for vacant title at 130 after Burns moved up in weight as soon as Broner became his mando.

    I'm sorry if you can't see how painfully obvious it is that Cotto is very much relevant to this discussion. Like Broner, he is also a 3 weight champion. You claim you don't recognize Broner as one because he never beat any top fighters for his belts. Let's look at who Cotto beat for his belts. Pinto(vacant title), Quintana(vacant title), Foreman. Were any of those guys top rated fighters? The answer is no. Again, if you want to dismiss Broner's accomplishments that's fine. But you have to apply the same standard to all fighters. There's a bunch of guys out there that many consider to be high quality fighters that are not real champs according to your logic.

    yeah that's probably true. That's a great sign for Showtime. It's a great sign for Broner as well if he's drawing this many viewers also.

    I'll have to see the future ratings on Showtime to see if this trend keeps up
