I think he was on PEDs in '87, and still is!

He fought at lightweight in '86 as an amateur, then all of a sudden a few months later in '87 he was a fully-fledged junior-middleweight with bulging biceps.

Look at Roy's wrists - they're tiny. He's not a naturally big guy. He looked a Small MIDDLEWEIGHT, so the fact he became Heavyweight Champion of the World..... it's not rocket science.

Back in '86, Jones was more of a brawler, staying inside and ripping left hooks. In '87 he changed to an out-fighter relying on speed - clearly the roids helped change his style to a speedster, because they enhance speed as the muscles contract harder.

He probably would've been in a lot more wars without the PEDs and campaigned as a welterweight, probably not quite making world champion level but possibly having a world title shot somewhere.

    No one will ever know

    Same goes for Manny Pacquiao

The fact that JMM managed to beat the **** out of him speaks volumes

He's obviously still talented even without and I'm sure would've been a champion but probably not as dominant and incredible and awe inspiring with the way he looked in the ring
