So you would only have a gripe if Canelo "were up there in age"? this is what happened here. This is FMJ's way to make it harder on Canelo because he's young. Like, this Canelo guy is young, he can work those 2 pounds off...because he's young. This is absurd. Canelo being young "is his advantage" over Floyd. This whole narrative is mind blowing if you follow the sport closely. I don't know how people can let FMJ get away with this. 154 pound titles are on the line. There's no such thing as a 152 pound title. The only reason why Canelo is draining down to 152 is because otherwise Floyd wouldn't fight...because Canelo is young...because FMJ is scared.

You're making excuses for FMJ!! If Canelo rehydrates up to 170ish, which I'm not even sure is always the case, then that's his natural body type. All he's gotta do is make the weight at the weigh-in. People seem to be using this fact to again make excuses as to why this 152 catchweight is okay. This is Floyd's way to try to weaken Canelo slightly, so there's not as much of a size advantage. But FMJ could gain 4 or 5 pounds and come in at 153 himself, if he wanted to. If he doesn't, and prefers to fight at 150, then fine. But that's not what he's doing, he's essentially changing the weight class limit for this fight. and the only reason why it was allowed to happen is because it was the only way Floyd would fight Canelo.

It's such a ***** move and I can't believe you guys keep making excuses for Floyd. Like "it's only two pounds" or "Canelo's young and in great condition, he can make the weight", "Canelo agreed to it", etc. That's all total BS. You're missing the point. The Jr Middleweight Limit is 154 pounds!! Stop making excuses for Floyd Money Catchweather. The guy didn't have the balls to fight Canelo at 154. Period. The fact that Canelo is young and probably can make 152 is besides the point. That doesn't justify any of this catchweight BS.

Pac wasn't going around saying catch weights are meaningless or criticizing other fighters for fighting at catch weights. there's an arrogance about FMJ too. like in that video before he was asked about the catch weight he said before you ask me questions, do your homework. yet he's the one deceiving the fans about what really happened!
