I would imagine the whole point of having the new promotors on board is to televise good domestic shows on a weekly basis. It will be like Sky back in the day every Friday or Saturday night youll be able to chill out with a beer and watch a good domestic dust up.

I agree with you about Bunce hes not everyones cup of tea but neither is Adam Smith and the rest of those wankers on Sky so you cant have your cake and eat it.I tune in for the boxing, you can always change the channel when Bunces fat mug apears.

True about Bunce / Smith etc and if it was like the old Friday / Saturday Fight nights I would definately subscribe I love a good domestic dust up they are more often better than the big title fights.

They need to have Bunce Boxing 24/7

Where we follow Bunce around and see what he is doing... and he gives his thoughts on the boxing world.

Firstly, as a business I don't think they should be looking to make a profit in the first 3 years so the majority of money will be looked as an investment. Advertising makes up some of it, subscription makes up more but also their shows may be able to command more money from sponsors because it's televised.

    Wtf are you an accountant??

Youve got about a 100 years of experience in boxing promotion combined putting their heads together for this new deal with box nation,I think they will have looked into that before coming to an agreement. If they didnt think it would work they wouldnt have signed.

    Simple

If you think Frank is doing all this single handedly you are more stupid than you sound.

i guess they have got about 15 / 20k regular subscriptions and then get the spike in numbers for big fights haye / khan / mayweather and hope to keep people on for an extra month or 2 til next time

eddie hearn claims he doesnt subscribe so they havnt yet got all of the boxing hardcore yet!!

they may not advertise the channel on tv but it is in newspapers and radio all boxing fans know about it and most general sports fans.

In Premier League Football the debt is tolerated because the revenue streams are for the moment increasing on par with the debt, and the debt is needed to market the product. Outside the Premier League and in Scotland we are seeing clubs go to the wall.

I do not know the business plan for Boxnation. But to speculate, it does not necessarily need to make money, it could be used for tax purposes, it might be used to resolve debt issues, finance can get very complicated.
