Look at the fight when David Haye wins his belt against andre the giant...
Any decent mw could have done what haye did and won the fight....
Infact make that any decent lw.

    That's all Jones did

Lets look at the Facts shall we?

Roy is a convicted steroid cheat

Roy handpicked fights and was even ridiculed by his own network and then dropped by HBO who referred to him as 'Reluctant Roy'

Roy didn't stay at Heavyweight because he had ZERO intentions of fighting anyone other than John Ruiz

Roy has a Glass Jaw and has been brutally KOed on 3 different Continents

Roy loved to 'talk' about fighting the best but rarely did it

Roy had no Plan B in a fight and had no clue what to do when things were not going his way

Roy simply left too many unanswered questions about how good he was or wasn't. We know the root cause of a lot of this was his Fragile Glass Jaw

    100% correct Momus.

The ripped fuel and andro stories where infiltrated into the press via Roy's attourney as the best cover up damage limitation story, unfortunately this story was swallowed hook, line, and sinker by gullable Roy Jones Jnr fanboys and is still spread around today, so much so that casual fans of the sport are taken in by press articles spread via information from the Jones camp.

The truth is Jones failed the A test for an unnamed illegal anabolic steroid and Jones was asked to go to a lab of his choice to have the B sample tested. That never happened because Roy and his legal team worked out the best escape route possible and admitted guilt after the A sample, never took the B sample to be tested, and then took 3 weeks to work out the best damage limitation exercise via the ripped fuel story.

The truth of the matter was that Jones was found to have 6 times the acceptable level of testosterone in his system.

The only 2 legitimate sources in the whole episode were the Indiana Commission and the IBF and they stated that they stated it was unproven that ripped fuel caused the abnormal results.

Why do people still talk about this guy being good?
We don't talk about Ben Johnson being great..we don't talk about lance Armstrong, Marion Jones or ****** Gatlin being great.

I think boxers who cheat should be erased from history just like the above athletes are

Youu go by numbers and rankings too much. All of which are easily manipulated in boxing. Lets not forget how abysmal some of the fights and fighters were all thanks to Don King and his manipulation of the hw division. Bogus discisions, poorly ref'd fights, and quite possibly fixed fights are all Don King trademarks. Ruiz, a Don King promoted fighter was King's no.1 fall man. He was a disgrace to himself and the sport and the perfect fighter for Roy to fight. Im sure King jumped at the chance considering it was a historical fight and he owned a huge chunk of the hw division. The Ruiz fight was just another chance for Roy boys to gloat at another of his overhyped victories

Roy has an ABYSMAL glass jaw. one of the worst among rated fighters in the 2000s.

So Roy is a former JMW with an "ABYSMAL" glass jaw, and you still can't give him the credit for having the balls to fight at HW? You are a f ucking joke, and I can see you are clearly trolling at this point.

This will be my last comment, I don't argue with tards.:hi:

    UnleashtheFURY,

Keep hating, your rants are becoming more ridiculous with each post, and you're just looking like a fool.

Name me all of the guys that Roy ducked. Apart from him ducking/dismissing Nunn and Collins, I'll smash them all out of the park.

You can keep trying to convince yourself that Roy cherry picked Ruiz, it's just funny to me.

I know that Roy had talks with Evander before and after his 3rd fight with Ruiz. The opportunity was turned down, because there was no title at stake, and he didn't think guys like you would give him credit if he won.

Show me who has said that the Ruiz win was AMAZING?

Some of the guys you've mentioned, haven't even gone up to 175 yet.

You think if Ruiz was around now with the WBA belt, that Froch, Kessler, Ward, Clev, Bute, Dawson etc would all make a move and challenge him?

    No chance!

He wanted Tyson after Ruiz, and then Tarver goaded him to go back down.

The Tyson fight would have been a circus, but it would have made millions in PPV.

    You haven't got a clue!

He had an agreement with Evander that they'd fight in 2002, if Evander won and got the belt back.

You can ignore this fact all you want, it won't change anything.

    Keep hating! :good
