this is great news! the styles match up really well and both punch with power. Stevenson's chin isn't great, but i wouldn't say it's glass, whereas Bellew has been hit by bombs (he was dropped) but didn't seem troubled by them. i have no problem with the location considering that Bute and Pascal made trips to the UK so it's only fair if it's over there. but i guess who ever wins purse bids gets to choose. this is a real 50/50 fight, but i shade it slightly for Bellew. he'll go out there and be smart instead of just rushing in. getting hit by too many shots from Adonis isn't exactly a good idea. he can't have a performance like he did against Mirander though, that won't be enough. respect the punching power, but not too much where it shuts down your own work. Bellew needs to box at range, throw faints, and use the jab to set up up the big ones. don't go looking for a war. if he keeps his head, keeps smart and is purposeful with his attacks, i pick Bellew to win by stoppage around the 9th or 10th round.
i'm giving him a chance. so much so that i'm picking him to win the fight. it's a real 50/50 affair, but i've got him shading it.
In all fairness Gavin Rees actually won a world title and was stopped in 12 by Kotelnik (Who got robbed against chicken **** Devon) he did pretty good considering he was fighting at 140/135 and was only 5'4 and he could still win a world title at 135 or even 130 if he can control his diet Bellew however is the best of the bunch and came close to handing Cleverly his first loss but not close enough, If Darnell Boone can stop Stevenson then so can Bellew. Bellew TKO in the championship rounds, can not wait for this fight
Jesus...Stevenson destroyed Dawson and Dawson beat Hopkins.Dawson and Hopkins have beaten almost every current LHW of note.
