Eric, do you think Team Elite Generalship is throw around like confetti?

Do you have any idea of the stringent recruitment process that is undertaken before a poster qualifies to be a Team Elite General?

At this moment in time you are merely a novice in the boxing fraternity. Who knows, one day you may mature into an ESB ATG, but at the present time you do not belong in the Team Elite Corporation with the following gents and scholars :grouphug

I don't have to make it look bad for Joseph, he's done it all by himself.

Roy would have turned him upside down and shook the change out of his pockets if they'd have met when Roy was anywhere near his peak.

2002 - Joe wanted the crown jewels, and he knew what his capabilities were.

    2008 - He gave Roy 50/50

Terrific posting Terry, you are indeed a gent and a scholar of the highest possible class. However, its important that esb posters understand the importance of the chincheckers here on esb, they study chin fragments in great detail in the punch resistance laboratories and provide a wonderfull service exclusively to esb free of charge :deal

Roy Jones' lone win over Toney at 168 is better than Joe's whole career at 168.

Yes, Loudons opening stanza here on esb was that of a very fair gent and scholar but gradually his opinion has become clouded, tinged with unbridled fanboyism for his steroid riddled idol Roy Jones Jnr :patsch

He deserves credit however, he has shown a willingness to trade blow for blow in the trenches with Team Elite Generals and can be considered in the upper echelon of Team Elite opponent alongside the likes of General Zod and Realsoulja. Who knows, this November he may be stood at the 4th annual Team Elite Awards with a cluster of prestigious gongs destined for his south Yorkshire mantle piece :think

    :good

Also, lets not forget that before he gave him 50/50 he said the following things:

2007 - "A fight with Roy at this stage, would be POINTLESS!"

2007 - "Tarver's not great, he beat a faded version of Roy."

2008 - "Roy was a great fighter, but he's not anymore, and I'd be disappointed if he was to be my last fight."

Then after the fight. - "I'm the Legend killer!"

The great words of Joke Calzaghe.

Why would you say that? Toney won his 168 title off Barkley, bare in mind this came after Benn had tko'd Barkley in one round and after shot, former lightweight Roberto Duran had also beaten Barkley.

After the Barkley fight, this was Toneys run as 168 champion before losing to Jones

    - govoner chavers 9-3-1

    - ricky thomas 11-9-1

    - glen thomas 24-1-0

    - danny garcia 25-9-0

    - larry prather 10-10-0

    - tony thornton 35-5-1

    - anthony hembrick 27-4-1

    - tim littles 24-0-0

    - vinson durham 11-6-1

    - charles williams 36-5-2

Bare in mind that even before this horrific run of opponent, Toney had only managed split decision wins over sosa and Johnson, been given a gift against Dave Tiberi and Drawn with Sanderline Williams.

The one excellent win on Toneys record was Micheal Nunn, though I had Toney way behind on the scorecards going into the 11th.

In all honesty, your original statement has been made to look ridiculous

    I hope so!

I was deeply disappointed last year. I left with NOTHING!

I didn't even win one for the most deluded fanboy. I mean, come on!
