Crolla's problem is stamina - he should have finished Matthews off twice but couldn't, Rees can go 12 rounds easy and will come on extremely strong. He's outworking Crolla, although the power lies with Crolla, he hasn't got the same engine and is starting to feel Ree's bodywork.

    Round 7

Crolla is ducking the jab and slapping down with his right from above. Rees thumps him twice across the back in a clinch, spinning him away. Flush right hand by Rees as Crolla ducks inside. Rees ducks a jab, then finds the mark with his. 1-2 by Rees. Crolla stands on the outside and Rees is content to use him for target practice with jabs from the hip. Crolla is doing nothing, jogging in and out. 1-2 on the face by Rees. Single right hand. Hooks traded, both missing.

    10-9 Rees

    68-65 Crolla

Sky appear to be giving an educational speech about dick sucking, Crolla is certainly benefiting though.

Crolla stopped punching because he is tired, I think he tries a low work-rate to recover from the fatigue.

    Round 9

Crolla is stepping in and goading Rees into exchange, then stepping out when Rees lifts his left to jab or hook. Counter jabs to the face and rights to the body by Crolla. Rees is very badly cut, gushing from his right socket. 1-2 by Rees in the last half minute but he'll need a lot more to steal it. Rees pushes Crolla into a corner attempting just that. Crolla hurts Rees with a shoeshine and spins him to get out to center ring.

    10-9 Crolla

    88-83 Crolla

GREAT round - and I think it's been a quality fight, neither guy is willing to give an inch and Crolla has surprised me, I thought he would start being winded but he's been more accurate than Rees.
