Billy you seem the only one who is adamant it doesn't happen Eddie is saying it's a possiblilty and Ricky isn't ruling it out you need to make a stand.

 

Billy also said he wanted to see Ricky fight Abril.

Clearly Billy's opinion on the matter counts for **** all.

 

Glad to hear you say this Billy. Am I right in thinking Ricky and Matchroom have a 3 fight deal? Hearn talked of Gonzales > Vasquez > Broner not long ago, now this.

 

im a big fan of burns but if crolla gets the nod after beltran then thats a ****in disgrace. as for hearn, that c.unts went down in my estimations tonight. dont think he has rickys best interests at heart.

 

He won't make the final decision, but he will certainly have a say on the matter

 

The fight will happen. All it will do is hold ricky back, because there is no way he loses this even on a bad night.

 

I think the Scottish fight fans are a blessing and a curse. Ricky will sell out the biggest arenas up here from now on, no promotor would want to lose that.

 

although ricky has still to prove his worth at world level, i think he is miles above domestic. let him fight the big fights. if he gets beat, then so be it. at least hes tried the bigger stage.

 

Burns needs to be fighting in BIG fights, Hearn will harm his credibility by fighting Crolla. It is pleasing to hear Billy say he doesn't want it....neither do we!!!

 

Genuinely starting to think all Eddie Hearn wants to is keep feeding Ricky easy opponents to ensure he can carry on with these arena shows in Glasgow and in the process milking us of as much as he can.

The frustrating thing is, I genuinely believe he could be winning big unification fights. Eddie talks a good game I'll give him that. But after hearing him speak tonight I'm bloody pissed off.

I only ask as Hearn said in an interview he put a potential fight with Golovkin in front of Barker and it was his trainer who turned it down.

 

Just like Ricky needs to be kept away from Vasquez and Broner he has no chance.

 

Is Eddie expecting Ricky to lose to Beltran? I could accept Ricky fighting Crolla after a loss but not after a win there. What a massive set in the wrong direction. Eddie showing he's all in it for himself and couldn't give two hoots about his own fighter's career progression.
