I swear most people dislike Broner because he's a douchebag, not because he is hyped up. But seriously, your job on this forum is basically to disparage euro boxers. It's quite obvious.
The fact that people are going to names of top 168 fighters who are on their way to 175 to beat a small middleweight says it all. GGG is absolutely a P4P talent.
1. Floyd Mayweather - Welterweight / Junior Middleweight - USA - 46 - 0 2. Juan Manuel Marquez - Welterweight - Mexico - 55 -6 -1 3. Wladimir Klitschko - Heavyweight - Ukraine - 60 - 3 4. Andre Ward - Super Middleweight - USA - 26 - 0 5. Carl Froch - Super Middleweight - UK - 31 - 2 6. Bernard Hopkins - Light Heavyweight - USA - 53 - 6 -2 7. Sergio Martinez - Middleweight - Argentina - 51 -2 8. Gennady Golovkin - Middleweight - Kazakhstan - 27 - 0 9. Lucas Mathysse - Junior Welterweight - Argentina - 32 - 2 10. Guillermo Rigondeaux - Super Bantamweight - Cuba - 12 - 0 I have Golovkin at 8, which is odd because when I was writing this list I thought he would rank slightly higher but im giving Martinez the benefit of the doubt as he has Macklin, Barker, Williams, Pavlik, Chavez, Murray on his scalp and is out with injury. If Golovkin goes out and KO's his next opponent like that then he will go up to 5-6 (depending on how Mayweather / Marquez / Hopkins perform and who Ward and Froch would fight next)
Not if you weigh in H2H ability even a little bit. There aren't 10 fighters more unbeatable than Golovkin right now, point blank.
there's not 3 GGG effortlessly crushes quality guys. He's cool and calm. People seem to think GGG will fold if he loses a round. When you can punch like he can you don't need to fight smart but he does.
I think he beats anybody at 160 but I wouldn't say he doesn't get challenged. Quillin and Geale could give him some trouble.
Macklin is a very, very silly boy. i said before the fight that if he goes on the back foot he's absolutely done for. so what does he do from the off? he goes on the back foot. GGG didn't walk him there, it was Macks choice to go there. that was tactical suicide and a complete waste of time. GGG broke him mentally before the first bell had sounded. i also had to laugh when Mack said that GGG was hard to hit! no he wasn't you fool, he was right there in front of you. the only reason it was hard to hit him was due to throwing stupidly awkward shots at nothing due to fear and then going on the back foot. had Mack of claimed centre ring, used his jab with upper body movement, then placed the right hand down the middle, he would have built himself up mentally and realised that he had something of a chance... but no! what a waste of training camp and all that breath he used to talk with. he did everything he shouldn't have, and never once did what he should have. i picked GGG by late stoppage, but he could have at least of been purposeful and done the right things to give himself a chance. i hope Mack doesn't get yet another shot because he doesn't deserve it. that was ****ing pathetic tonight.
