    Exactly that, Billy himself is saying its a very one sided fight. I hope for Rickys sake this fight does not happen after Ricky beats Beltran it will definately lose him some credibility as a world champion

    Respect for Billy for not suddenly changing his tune and toeing the pary line on a Crolla fight after fast car made it clear Crolla has a good chance of getting Ricky after he hopefully deals with Beltran. Nobody wants to see Crolla in there against Burns but if king Ed insists on it hopefully it will be squeezed In before the end of the year possibly on Froch's undercard (if Eddie goes for PPV) as it wouldn't merit being a headline fight IMO - team burns can then go for bigger things next year (wishfull thinking).

    Yeah give billy his due he hasn't changed his mind overnight now it's looking likely

    But if it does happen he will want to make sure his words are backed up
    Because crolla and Gallagher have all the motivation they need

    Ricky also has motivation he's not been beat in6 years since he's been in my gym,he'd hardly be lacking in confidence now would he?
    Joe may have his tactics but when it's came to the world title fights they've been wrong and he's lost,let's not be fooled the diffrence between last nights level and Rickys is massive anyone thinking different is so wrong

    The easiest way to answer that question is ask any of the top LW or LWW in the country who have sparred him, they will all tell you the same thing he's top top drawer,IMO Ricky is the No1 LW in the world

    I agree Ricky is far better than the Rees/crollas of this world but my point is 2 dedicated pros like Gallagher and crolla could be spurred on to new heights just from your opinions on them in this thread

    Do you think champions fight other champions every week? How many undisputed champions are there at the moment? Apart from Vasquez or Abril or Broner, who else would be a credible fight in your eyes?

    Clearly you didn't get my point.

    Allow me to simplify it for you. Ricky is a champion and doesn't need to fight top 10 fighters (especially after a mandatory) as he is already in a position to make unification fights.
