It's just boxing business isn't it mate, don't you understand? Muhahahaha.

I'm not remotely surprised by it though, they don't want the dangerous, big fights esp when know the Scottish fans get behind their sportsman so they can basically put him in with anyone up there. Agree with what you say, they are mugging the fans off and it's not on.

I get the feeling Hearn just doesnt rate him and wants to get something back from his investment before taking risks. Ricky might not have looked great in his last bout but considering the length of time he had been inactive and the frustration of all the postponements and cancellations he still did what he had to do and his opponent was no mug. I thought Burns was about to KO that gonzales in the next couple of rounds anyhow. Put him in with better fighters to see a better Burns imo.

I'm a massive fan of Burns but if he fights Corolla it's just taking the ****.

Corolla is domestic, European level at best, fighter. Burns is a proven world champion.

Even if they try and sell this as a 'keep busy' fight they can **** off. His last fight was a mandatory, that was his 'keep busy' fight after almost a year out of the ring.

Whats happened to fights against the likes of Broner (yeah i know), Abril, Vazquez or DeMarco?

Adrien Broner is so many levels above Burns at the moment when it comes to star power and selling fights. Broner would laugh at that fight at the moment.

I live in Edinburgh and have been down to England several times for boxing but I refuse to travel 50 minutes on the train for Burns fights. The thousands of idiots paying tickets each time out continue to make it possible for Burns and his camp to stay away from decent opposition.

Go on then brains explain how a boxer with 8 world title fights across two weight divisions isn't a proven world champion.

How many of those 'world title' fights were against genuine world class opponents?

Im sure when Burns signed with Eddie he said his plans were to build ricky up here , and that is wht he is doing with these sort of fights ... is crolla a good or great fight ? not the best out there
