As long as ricky gets paid of course he will take the fight with Anthony, Ricky's spent so long inactive under his previous promoter it must be nice for him to be working so regular.

Any coach would tell you they'd want unification fights, as well has the boxer the coach wants to test himself at the top level as well.

You wanted it, Ricky wanted it, so why is the next fight against Beltran?

Can you see where the confusion exists?

Eddies just gaining momentum for ricky and Ricky's just happy to be being paid.

    EH wants it because:
Both his fighters, so he keeps belt
Could go undercard of Froch, and help sell as PPV
IF Crolla wins(he won't) it sells the rematch in Glasgow
Allows him time and saves him some cash to make a big fight for Burns next year

I'd buy this argument if his opponent was a step up each time he fought.

Problem is Crolla would be a massive step backwards. No momentum, in a boxing sense, to be gained from the fight.

Ricky Openly says he doesn't mind who he fights as long as he gets paid. Music to hearns ears.

Has everyone forgotten they signed to fight Vasquez? For a sport where top fighters only fight every 4-6 months the fans have absolutely no patience

allegedly done the usual arranging a press conference without Vazquez actually signing to fight and then pulling out with an "illness".
