Golovkin has beaten far more impressive fights than say, a real overrated fraud like Deontay Wilder, who has been boxing for 5 years and has fought only tomato cans. The best fighter he fought was an ancient Audley Harrison, who was a fringe contender at best in his "prime."
Wilder's a joke. People criticize Golovkin for not fighting anyone? :nut Compared to the pathetic stiffs Wilder has fought, Golovkin's opponents look like ATGs!!!!!
he has fought the same caliber of fighters that chavez jr has fought minus martinez. i would love to see ggg vs chavez jr, would be very interesting!!!
Yep he's overrated and fights decent fighters in his division which are considered bums and has overrated punching power.
He is indeed overrated at this point. We wont know for sure how good he is until he is hit by a hard hitter. We have to see how his chin and skin holds up before we will know for sure. He is just to small to beat Froch or Ward. Froch will slice his face up it they ever meet.
I don't think he is Overrated at all, do some fans go too far with the hype and act as if the guy is INVINCIBLE? Absolutely! but I think his hype is right where it should be. My problem with Boxing today is that fighters don't step up to a challenge, all the top fighters at 160 just tries to Pretend like GGG don't exist and try to ignore him or they make up excuses as to why they won't fight him right now. Have Sergio Martinez even mentioned GGG...if he can fight Darren Barker, Matthew Macklin and Martin Murray then fighting GGG should not be a problem and would no question be a much bigger pay day then those fight was I am sure.
Rigo and Golovkin are supremely skilled fighters who simply needed the opportunity to show it. The only difference is Donaire manned up and gave Rigo his shot. The other top middleweights are in no rush to get their souls wrecked by GGG, but he's the truth.
If you're trying to beat OnePunchKO as the number 1 troll you gotta have to more than this. Way more. :thumbsup
