    Ok.. who?

In my opinion, Macklin beat Sturm in a close but clear decision who at the time was a title holder.

Martinez has been considered the dogs bollocks of the MW division for the past few years, Macklin had him on the floor and was up on the score cards before being stopped in the 11th - gave a good account of himself whilst in defeat.

Macklin is a world class operator, but GGG proved last night that he was levels above.. nobody has ever done that to Macklin. Big talent.

GGG hasn't fought the absolute elite because they are ducking him. We all know it.

Absolutely. The balance, brilliant judging of range, subtle footwork. Very similar.

Golovkin and Ward are on a collision course. Some fight that.

People have been talking up Kovalev's power and how he's gonna destroy Clev, but Golovkin looks another level again in the destructive power stakes. He also has the air of a guy who feels he isn't going to get hurt no matter what is thrown at him in the way he pressures straight through guys. He looked physically so much stronger than Macklin. Am excited by him but at the same time can't stop the old cynic in me raising its head the more I see of him

  8. Good call

Both sensational to watch at their best and must be so intimidating to face
Gennady golovkin is now officially my favourite fighter, this could be an exciting ride with him but to be great you need great competition so where he goes will be fascinating

Fair play to boxnation when they filmed him knocking out Simon in front of one man and his dog they were hyping him to the max and ever since then the ggg hypetrain has been fun to ride

He is the real deal, great for boxing.a good role model a gentleman and then a beautifull boxer with concussive power
If only we could produce somebody of this quality

  9. Golovkin has power like matthysse, where every punch even jabs and glancing blows are thunderous and rock their opponent

Although I have always thought he could be special,I too was careful not to go overboard due to his opposition.because I tend to find unless you have faced adversity then we have not seen the complete package

But **** it I'm not going to question his credentials anymore just enjoy somebody who is a breath of fresh air for boxing

Mayweather, ward, rigondeux are all great boxers and I enjoy their performances
But the likes of golovkin, matthysse,Stevenson, kovalev, donaire, rios, maidana etc are what attracts new fans and excites the hardcore
