Thomas Oosthuizen vs. Brandon Gonzalez undercard Fight

This is the stuff that I can't figure how people don't get. Oost is the marquee fighter in that fight, if anyone was going to get a gift, it was him. And he did.(but just a lil one)

That being said, a draw was generous, but not exactly out of the realm of possibility. It does appear Gonzalez ran out of fuel and allowed Oost to swoop in and snag the last few rounds. I did have it 96-94 for Gonzalez. A draw is acceptable, if not exactly accurate IMO.

Exactly. The HBO clowns must have biased most people's scores, because basically after the 6th Oosthuizen won most of the remaining rounds. Some were close, and could have been scored the other way, but it is clear that Oosthuizen took over in the latter half of the fight, and pulled out a draw (as I scored it), or even won close.

It is the wide score for Gonzalez that is ridiculous, not the close ones.

 

gonzalez got tired and looked worse in the later rds. Oostheizen just plain looked like **** for most of the fight. The guy is too basic.

 

Gonzalez was the more effective fighter and I thought he deserved a close but clear decision.
