Exactly mate ducking, then firing back with more accurate punches.

I like Ricky mate, but he's in the way of the Crolla train. The little Moston Terrier is gonna be biting your ankles big man :D

    AND THE NEWWWWW!!!

I just watched ifilm London interviews with Rees and Crolla
Rees looked fine couple of cuts but still looking fresh
Crolla looked as if he was very tired and glad it was over and talking how hard he trained he will need to be fitter for Burns
I was ring side when he smashed Limond but could not finish him Burns would stop Limond in 2 or 3 rds look what Burns done Mitchell who is tougher all round box fighter than Crolla I think Crolla needs rest had a few hard fights before he takes on Ricky

I like a man winnig at the bookies well done Macky, let's just not get to over excited that Anthony is going to fight Ricky any time soon though.
Anthony is a very good fighter but will be taught a harsh lesson at world level:good

I know someone who had 1,000 on Anthony.

All his proper mates backed Anthony, paid for the night out anyway :D

Can't wait for the bigger odds in Glasgow, I'm gonna start saving up now.

Burns will walk right through Crolla.

Crolla keeps a high guard and is very busy on his toes.......being busy on his toes (I don't see much of a workrate)

Never seems to follow up his shots......noticed it with 2nd Derry fight....scores cleanly then steps of (maybe down to the corner) and he always looks like he has been in a war after two rounds

Nice guy and why not give him a shot ?

He aint on a Simpson level for continuous hard fights but he defo dosent avoid them.

    Burns will go through him.

Well...Burns fought Rocky Martinez (who is only barely world class IMO and ought to have lost clearly to Beltran Jr., Burgos, and Magdaleno) and his lightweight reign has been considerably better than his super feather.

Mick Katsidis, Kevin Mitchell, Paulus Moses, and Chelo Gonzalez (and soon Ray Beltran) is a much harder schedule than Rocky/Evensen/Laryea/Cook - and than anything Crolla has ever dealt with.

Before Rees the closest Anthony had come to world class opposition was faded Erik Morales when they were supposed to meet back in December '11, with Crolla riding a 10-W streak and Morales having just come off looking extremely old and beatable in the first half against Pablo Cano before rallying back to stop the kid...and scant months before the pair of losses to Garcia. I'm not saying his stamina is any better than Cano's, but might Crolla have paced himself a bit more reasonably and thereby avoided the same fate...maybe even slugged his way to claiming that big-name scalp before Garcia could? Perhaps. :think I honestly think it's poor luck that Crolla never got Morales in the ring, because El Terrible was ripe for the picking and Crolla would have found it arduous and dangerous work but really would've had a solid chance of "punching above his weight" and picking up a very pretty feather in his cap well beyond his true mark.

...but that's a what-if scenario. As it is, Burns has been in terrific form against improving opposition for a long time now. Crolla has enjoyed mixed success domestically (comfortably defeating Limond and Farrel, and exploiting Rees' wear and tear last weekend - but also coming up short twice each against Sykes and Matthews) and even struggled badly against Juan Montiel. Granted, it should have been scored clearly for Crolla and not SD - and Montiel is a "better than his record" type journeyman to be fair...but he is still a Mexican domestic stock journeyman, and he pushed Crolla to his limits. You can't really see Burns having floundered so much against someone that far down the ladder, can you?
