GGG hits at least 4 times harder than Boone. how the hell do you expect Ward to be able to avoid someone like that for 12 rounds. This aint a crude slugger without a plan B we're dealing with here. with a neutral ref Ward gets smoked :deal

GGG KO are all at the middle weight limit , he does not have any KO at 168 to make any claim that he hit 4x harder then any super middle weight.

Again Maclin is nothing but a wild swing middle with very little skills

does he have good foot work ? NO

does he have good defense ? NO
does he have good speed ? NO
He is a true middle weight I give him that but thats all.
The late Auturo Gatti had more skill then macklin.

Just what make macklin so special other then give a good account of him self with Martinez and granted that was only because he is very awkward.

Im surprise he lasted 2 rounds .. The only reason he didn't get KOed in the first round is because GGG trainer told him not too.

if you were to rank Mackin agains other contenders between now and 15 and 20 years ago … he wouldn't even be ranked as a sparring partner.

 

It took an elite (albeit slightly past it) fighter 11 rounds to get him out of there. GGG destroyed him in 3.

i remember his trainer pulling him back a little in the corner, i thought it strange advice. it was something like "dont hit him too hard... yet." or "dont go too hard on him", i dont remember exactly what.

how do you see Ward vs GGG going?

both at 168, and at 164 CW

 

That all depend on how well GGG adjust to the added weight .. We already know Ward can handle power puncher at 168 and keep boxing ..
what we don't know is what happens to GGG if he's not able to hurt his opponent, what will he do ? what will he do when the guy is not running from his power but instead boxing him ?

And does GGG really want to go to 168 with fighters like Adonis stevens, Pascal , Robert Seiglitz , and bute who can box as well as punch more then exceptionally well at that weight.
Not only that these fighters are physically bigger then GGG
