I don't wanna hear any excuses. I said weidman would be champ on this site after the sakara fight. Knew my prediction was a lock to come to fruition after the Maia fight. I've won more than 30gs on weidman in the last 3 years and will be robbing Vegas again next weekend. Strongly advise betting on weidman. Thank me after the fight.

Oh ya, I do remember I was all Alone when I said weidman was gonna sub silva. Not 1 person even took me serious. All of you will see! Weidman will sub vitor next, in brasil!

I think Weidman is going to have a hard time closing the distance and taking Silva down to be honest. Think he gets knocked out.

    I don't.

Weidman may not have the power and explosiveness as an offensive striker but he understands range/distance, and I haven't really seen him get hit to often. He sets back and thinks in there. He will use feints to keep Anderson off balance and setup the takedown. Once he takes him down silva is gonna be down for the remainder of the round. Weidman a top game is the most versatile in the UFC. I feel he will GNP for 3 rounds and finish him with a choke in the 4th.

Weidmans defensive standup is good enough not to get koed I think. Anything can happen but I stick by my prediction.

I honestly won't be surprised at all if Weidman wins. I'll be super impressed. I'm picking against him. But I remember Silva/Sonnen 2 and Sonnen was on top doing damage. If that were Weidman, Silva would be having a rough round.

We shall see. I'm still picking Anderson though. I think he controls the distance and uses feints to confound Weidman. This will make Weidman more hesitant to close the distance. The longer it's on the feet, the more Anderson gains the advantage.

That could very much happen, anything can. Soennan is a poorman weidman at best though. Weidman is much better at setting up the takedown and once he's on top he's staying for the rest of the round. As big of a mismatch as everyone thinks it is on the feet, I say it's a bigger mismatch on the ground. Weidmans jits is a few steps above Silvas. People who think that is stupid must be ignorant.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. That's why I say I wouldn't be surprised. On the feet I'm flip flopping internally. Sonnen was able to win 5 out of 7 rounds against Anderson pretty decisively. So while the stand up STRIKING was in Anderson's advantage, the stand up grappling was clearly in Chael's advantage as was the ground. So, as you implied, the stand up advantage may not be as big as some people think.

I'm still picking Anderson. He always seems to have an answer for guy's attacks. So we'll see. I'm very interested in this fight.
