ESB it, finally, I was hoping for this, the experienced, iron chinned warrior vs the young and hungry up and comer :deal:bbb either Carl faces his mandatory, or loses his IBF belt, the bid will take place on 12 July, after which the camps will have 90 days to make the fight

anyone else pumped to see this fight?

Good fight. Froch will likely win but still a good fight for boxing and esp. British boxing.

I'd favour Froch, but definately a good fight to be made.

Excellent domestic clash. Groves has impressed me so far, he's faster, hits hard and has better technique so must be seen as a dangerous fight and may very pull off the upset, everything I see in him makes me think he could do it.

But Froch is Froch. You look at him he looks terrible, slow hands and feet, terrible punching technique, poor defensive skills but he just keeps on winning with pure self belief and desire. He has to be a favourite but I think this will be a very tough fight for Froch.

I honestly think groves will pull a upset and beat froch...

I think Eddie knows this could happen, therefore i have a sneaky feeling froch vacates then pursues a massive payday fight with chavez jnr or along them lines, and groves fights for vacant.

    Just a hunch.

Eddie Hearn and Froch have shown no fear in taking difficult match ups before so I doubt they'll side step Groves due to fearing an upset, only reason this fight wouldn't get made is if a bigger fight for more cash is available.

What happened to Groves fighting the winner of AA and Stig?

Groves and Boothe dumped their pant when they saw Stig change the arrangements on Arthurs face, thats what happened.

Groves looks good beating bums but at elite level he ran from Stig twice and got a gift against light hitting DeGale.

Groves is a joke and Froch would stop him in his tracks with the jab before flooring him with the follow up right hand.

Groves is progressing nicely as a fighter and showing a lot of promise, but Froch would maul him.

its a very good fight from Carl Froch!!, and must see for every british boxing fan!!

Groves can make the upset in this one, he have more boxing skills but, the desire and hearth of Froch is something that only Ward was able to stop!!
