as per allboxing.ru both sides finalized the contract, which was in turn approved by the Wba. I am not holding my breath till I see Povetkin in the ring, but this is an exciting year for boxing! :happy

In hindsight there was really no way Wlad could of walked away. At least he is finally stepping up. There is no excuse for his last 4 pathetic fights. This is a good fight, so hats off to him. Povektin to pull the upset.
Finally, there was always too much money on the table for either fighter to walk away from this. Will be good to see Wlad face someone that at least has a chance no matter how small that chance was is and good to see Povetkin finally step up. Hopefully this puts an end to all the nonsense from both sets of fans.
I thought this fight would never get made. Povetkin was the mandatory like 3 years ago, his team did a helluva job ducking the Klits for quite some time. I haven't been impressed with Povetkin whatsoever since he turned pro. His biggest win was probably against "Fast" Eddie Chambers who looked awful and out of shape in that fight. Should be another dominant performance for Klitschko.
