Nonsense fight to be honest. But I think Hearn would be happy with it. Easy defense, will sell tickets. The longer Burns holds on to the belt the better. After his last showing I doubt they would risk him against top top opposition.

 

I knew Hearn would pull this **** - Burns is supposed to be a world champ why is a Crolla fight even on the table?? He's a win some lose some domestic level lil operator- nothing more,nothing less.

Just you wait, after Beltran it will be crolla, then Murray and then possibly a Mitchell rematch- forget Vasquez and Abril they won't happen IMO

 

Macky, this is boring now....we all know that Crolla isnt a match for Burns apart from you...It's fine for you to believe and have dreams but sometimes they are best kept to yourself...

People are making out like Macky is picking Crolla to beat Broner. If Crolla was matched against Broner for his version of the 135 belts, myself (and I assume Macky) would be saying Crolla would be sparked in 2 rounds.

Burns' isn't Broner, this is Burns' who was being slapped about by Gonzalez until he quit. Crolla is going to come to Glawgow, with me and another 900+ Manchester lads - he's going to beat the **** out of Burns' and then myself, Macky and all the other Mancs (obviously not Crolla himself) are going to sniff a celebration line off the WBO belt. Na, I didn't say a world title shot. I said Burns' - the WBO is made out of paper. When Crolla sparks Burns, he won't be the worst person to hold a WBO title and that's a fact.

Farrell, Mathews and Rees are of a higher run quality of opponents than most jokes who get title shots these days. Ishida has had 3 world title shots on the back on sparking Kirkland 3 years ago.

Haters gon' hate - like I said think of it as a "stay busy" fight, it's a lot better than the Liam Walsh joke that nearly happened, or that Campo (spelling). If it puts your fragile mind at rest, it's just a stay busy fight in December, ready for a big unification 2014 (haha)
