Tyson and Foreman both in prime who wins?

Frazier's speed moving in and bobbing and weaving got him into range and lessened the impact of punches by the likes of Ellis and Ali. They need range to hit him and they had to rush their punches.

If you watch the Foreman fight George keeps Frazier at a distance with pushing and a strong jab. The first punch that floored Frazier was from distance; from then Joe had no chance and he marched into oblivion!

 

Foreman is the most talented heavy weight of all time!

 

Tyson by KO. Tyson has a better chin than Foreman and can punch just as hard which means Tyson would win in a war and has enough speed to win on points as well. People forget how good prime Tyson was.

 

Foreman couldn't take Ali's best shots when Ali was old but you think he can take prime Tyson?

 

I am going to disagree here, Foreman had a great chin!

 

We did see Tyson and Holyfield prime for prime and Holyfield won twice.

 

If his chin was so great how did an old Ali knock him out with one combination? Tyson would have landed far more combinations with far more ease and with more power. Tyson had greater hand speed than Ali and more power.

Ali beat him by letting Foreman exhaust himself then pummelling him when he was out of gas. Ali tried to hurt him in the first round but couldn't so spent the rest of the fight on the back foot hitting him with jabs and crosses until Foreman ran out of energy in the 8th then he pounced and went in for the kill.

Tyson was not the kind of fighter would could do that, and fight between him and Foreman would be with both men going forward and meeting each other head on. Tyson would never be able to make Foreman tire himself out, and Foreman fought more than his share of heavy-hitters for people to make the claim he was durable enough to stand up to Tyson's best.

I believe Foreman's bigger size, his durability and his power, and his crucial mental superiority over Tyson would let him outlast Tyson and see him emerge victorious.

I see the Tyson fanboys are out in force again, LMFAO. You have to wonder if they ever actaully saw Foreman fight. He had a wonderfully effective tactic against smaller or lighter fighters than him. As they came in to him, he would just push out both of his almost telescopic arms and simply shove them backwards, other times he would throw punches as they came forwards.

3 rounds of that and Tysons mental fragility would surface, and then its just a matter of when George wants to finish the show.
