How does Kiki Martini get a shot at a world title on the back of being stopped.

I thought Romero was Framptons target? Maybe Romero didnt offer the fight to Frampton? Sounds strange

That's really odd. If quigg ends up fighting the Cuban for a world title and Martinez beats Romero then what does frampton do if the quigg fight doesn't get made, fight Martinez again?

 

The irony of this fight is almost to much to cope with.

 

So McGuigan went and discussed this fight and now we have Martinez leapfrogging Frampton for a world title shot. What the hell! ..

One who'll do anything for a buck and the other who'll do anything not to pay out, it can only end in tears.

 

If martinez wins im sure hed like to try and avenge his loss againts frampton

 

Kiko is a good fighter and the fight with Frampton was a good fight. Yeah Frampton should have got a title shot but obviously he didn't take it/get offered it so i have no problem with Kiko getting a title shot and if he wins the rematch vs Frampton would make sense.

 

I wonder if Frampton would have been fighting Romero instead of Kiko if he had stayed with Matchroom, they were definitely targeting Romero after the Martinez fight.
