    I think Povetkin will have his moments early on but heck he couldn't even knock out CW Huck, whose defense has more holes in it than a Swiss cheese. I can't see him giving Wlad too much trouble. Should be a round 6-9 KO win for Wlad.

    Spoke to some people related to the organization of the fight. I was particularly interested in what Povetkin's team is banking on, what sort of a winning strategy are they trying to envision.

    Disappointingly it was the same old set of cliched arguments:
    - Klitshko has a weak jaw, one punch can win the fight;
    - the referree shouldn't allow him to clinch.

    This seems to be exactly what every other opponent thought was a good winning strategy...

    Quick Q:
    Has Povetkin been down in his pro career?

    He went down from a punch vs Mora but it was ruled a slip.

    BILD.DE is reporting Russian company Rosneft is sponsoring the fight with a $18 million guarantee. This is on top of all TV and live gate revenue. Hrunov and Rabynski may make a decent coin after all.

    So Povektins camp have no control over the ref? Surely its within their power to have a ref who wont allow Wlad to hold?

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:rofl

    Why do you keep posting this? The local commission picks the referee NOT the Promotor or Manager or Trainer or Fighter or anyone else. Each team can submit a protest and if the commission allows it an alternate referee will be selected.

    What are you laughing at glass kock?

    If you cant see Wlad has the ref protect him in all his fights, you blind.

    Haye tried to ge the ref changed in Hamburg and he got nowhere.

    Stop blaming the refs. Wlad is a 6'6 250lb chizzled superheavyweight. He is extremely strong, he has blazing fast handspeed, a deadly pinpoint right hand, a lethal left hook, and supreme boxing skills. He also has one of the best jabs of all time. He is very smart in the ring and is a lot tougher than people think. Think Povetkin can keep up with that? No.

    Do back and watch the 12th. The ref allowed Wlad waste the whole round doing the tango with Haye after he was rocked .

    Wlads holding is illegal and a coward way to fight. No way in hell Jay Nady would put up with Wlads holding. I still think Wlad will back out of this fight but if not if Povetkin gets the right ref it will increase his chances of winning. Povetkin has a good chin while WLad does not. Povetkin never has been down while wlad has been down 11 times. People who says Povetkin has no chance is wrong. Povetkin has a better chin and skin plus he can fight on the inside.
