Derry Matthews and Paul Smith whats the beef?

He was stopped on his feet with 3 seconds to go in a round and he clearly had all his senses and fighting back.......Derry was knackered and would have been stopped in the next round or 2 himself......he knows this.....thats why after the second time he got lucky he didn't want the 3rd fight. He wanted to just sit on twitter winding folk up......now hes jealous that Crolla beat Rees, something that he couldn't do.

He isn't making himself look like a tit at all. He is seasoned professional who has achieved alot in career which to me, seems far from over. I like Anthony as well (I'm not from Manchester or Liverpool by the way) but to say Derry 'got lucky twice' come on mate who is sounding like the tit now.

He deserves all our respect and is never in a dull fight. Great for neutral fans, like me, to watch.

He did get lucky twice. More so in my opinion the 1st time round. The last fight was close, thought Crolla edged it by 2 rounds, but could have gone either way depending on what you like. The 1st fight was an absolute gift of a stoppage. If it happened to Derry he would have been moaning guaranteed. He knows all this.

Hes a seasoned professional yes, do i respect him, as a boxer yes, as a person NO. his tactics in tryna get under Crollas skin in the 2nd fight crossed the line. Him n his little twitter cronies :nono
