A lot of people saying that Garcia is a coward and will duck the Matthysse fight, I just don't see it, he stepped in for Lamont Peterson and took the fight with Amir Khan, I remember back then a lot of people were picking Khan to overwhelm and stop Garcia pretty early after Garcia was coming off a win in which he struggled against Erik Morales. I don't think he'll duck Matthysse, he's a fighter through and through and will definitely take the fight imo.
i think the fight will happen. i also think the fights is 50/50. judah said they both hit hard but lucas had power in both hands. but im thinking ok i feel you on that but he said danny had a good right and we know what dannys left hook is like. so im not going over board with lucas power, i think the is fidi fidi !!
No comparasion between Garcia taking the Khan fight a few years back and Matthysse fight now. Khan was a very big name and Garcia was practically unknown: He needed a fight against a marquee fighter to make his name. Also, Khan isn't a big hitter, has a suspect chin, and was high in the rankings, so there was an awful lot to gain and little to lose for Garcia in taking the Khan fight. I'm not saying he's a coward, any champion fighter obviously isn't, but it does look like he doesn't want to fight Matthysse.
Remember Bowe Was that not a coward move against lewis . Even a championship level champion can fall to fear
if Danny got his opportunity to win a world title, and Khan give him the chance to unify his titles, he must give the opportunity to Matthyse!!
