To be honest up until the begining of this year i though Fury would best Price and didnt like they way the likes of Tony Bellew labelled him the 'heir to the Klitschko's. I always thought he lacked a little bit of heart after i saw him collapse againts the giant chinese in the semi finals in Bejing in 2008. I wasnt suprised when Tony Thompson sparked him in Feb and believed he was a knockout waiting to happen but i really hope he wins the rematch agains Thompson this weekend. The reason being i respect the way he handled all the abuse he got off Fury on twitter which came after Price sparked Harrison. I also admire the way hes handled the defeat so far and didnt shy away from the press and make silly exscuses. I also believe he will be easier to negogiate fights with in the future than Tyson and will have more balls to fight his challengers and not vacate his belts. I really do think Fury ran from Price! Why would you give up the British title to fight Martin Rogan who got beat twice by Sam ***ton?
and for what its worth i actaully think Fury has achieved more and would prob beat price but i dont think hes got the gonads to box him.
I am a David price fan Maybe he was overhyped but he is still better than wilder,Mitchell and so on He is a nice bloke who carries ko power Would love him to win a belt one day, come on David lad
What has Price done that makes you rate him over Wilder? Who above domestic-level bums has he defeated?
Price has beaten ***ton Skelton McDermott Harrison and Dallas in style Now that ain't world level but he walked through some previously durable opponents(***ton McDermott Skelton) with ease They also all own Winning records, wilder is so protected its unreal and his technique will be painfully exposed when stepping up Why were golden boy confident to put Mitchell in with banks Witherspoon ibragimimov with such little experience but are so cautious with wilder Maybe wilder sparks price but I think David could outbox him for my money
I think Wilder's windmilling of Harrison spoke volumes about him. Price made a very smart move going with Lewis. He has the power and physique, but we need to see him get hit flush on the chin again to see how he reacts.
And to the comment who has Price beaten apart from domestic bums? Who has Wilder beat apart from Audley and 27 other kebab shop Cruiserweights or Heavyweights with losing records lol
Doesn't it look bad if you take part in purse bids, but then pull out if you lose? If you don't intend to go through with the result, then maybe it's better you don't enter them.
I agree he comes across as a nice bloke and has taken defeat well. I know Fury takes the mick out of him for being stiff and although its a cheeky comment there is an element of truth in it, his movement is poor. Plus there is still concerns over his chin as well. But I hope he wins and with his power he always has a chance
His movement can't be that bad if he managed to beat Fury 22-8 as an amateur, Fury knows nothing he thinks he could have knocked out Lennox Lewis.
