Canelo better come in at 154. Once he gets tired, it's a wrap. We know some of you want Floyd to be beaten by a bigger man. All you want Floyd to do is fight bigger men. Can you really brag that Floyd got beaten by a bigger man though? No.
It don't even matter gents, Floyd is ready for his ass no matter what weight he comes in at. He's not training for a 152 lb Canelo. Come on now, get real. Same chance he had when he signed the contract is the same chance he's gonna have come fight night and that's slim and none.
Floyd is a 154 lb champion. All we want is for Floyd to defend his title at that weight class! No catchweights, no excuses. He's supposedly the best in the world, so why doesn't he need to cut corners? The best shouldn't need to gain an advantage. You keep telling us that there's going to be no excuses for either man. Yet Canelo will be fined millions of dollars if he doesn't come in below the CATCH weight. BlizzyBlizz, we have something in common, you know. We both don't want there to be any excuses!! Unfortunately, the catchweight created excuses. You can live in denial all you want. you can tell yourself that the sky is pink and pigs and fly, but it won't make it true. The sky will still be blue and pigs won't be able to fly no matter how hard you try to convince us otherwise.
The excuses are coming from Floyd Mayweather Jr. I didn't demand a catchweight. I'm just a neutral fan of boxing calling it as I see it. The *****s are in denial of what actually happened. Exactly. This isn't really that hard to understand. If FMJ can't defend his 154 at the weight limit, then is he really a legit 154 lb champion? I thought he was a legit 154 lb champ but the catchweight makes one question it. And it puts makes life harder on Canelo, but Manfred you're right, Canelo ain't complaining. He's put up with FMJ's demands to make the fight for the fans. I am glad this fight is happening, but lets be honest about what happened when it comes to the catchweight.
The 154 lb title are not at stake, the JMW titles are at stake. The limit for JMW is 154, meaning the fighters can't weigh more than 154. Like it or not, those are the rules.
The Junior Middleweight Titles are the 154 lb titles. For Junior Middleweight otherwise known as Light Middleweight, the fighters can't weigh more then 154 lbs. The fight should be at the standard 154 lb limit for a unification title match. Essentially it is, only Floyd has demanded multi-million dollar penalties if Canelo does not weigh in at 152 as a condition to agree to the fight.
And? We've been over this. You like going in circles. You feel a sense of pride in spouting the same lines over and over. You will continue to spout the same complaints over and over again, seemingly endlessly for the next few months. You will then pony up your money, pay to watch the fight, cheer, and then continue to complain afterwards. Like you said, JMWs can't weigh more than 154. Neither guy will weigh more than 154. It is what it is.
I've been saying since day 1 that 152 is a ploy by Mayweather to make more money. He want's Canelo to come in at 154. He's 2-0 against good light midleweights, who have more experance.
Those are not the rules of the sanctioning bodies. Those rules are that if you're fighting for a juniormiddleweight title you must weigh more than 147 lbs, and be not more than 154 lbs on the nose. If Canelo weighs more than 152lbs, the santioning body will not penalize Canelo for weighing 154 lbs. The penalties will come from the promotion side of the event that will have to fork over part of Canelo's purse because thats what is written in the contract between comabatants.
The 154 lb titles is just a side order gents. What's really at stake is those zeros. You can't get those back. People wanna know who's the best and they don't really care about a catch weight but about who's gonna win and who's gonna lose. Wake up!!
