bowe - Golota I and II Bowe took career ending punishment in those fights and Golota ate some very hard shots also.
Bowe vs Golota II was as brutal a fight as you'll ever see. Golota was in his absolute prime and beat the living (and dead) **** out of Bowe, who despite being completely ****ed had enough left to make the younger, stronger man quit. Riddick rightly gets a lot of **** for avoiding Lewis, but the heart he showed in that fight was ridiculous, to keep himself in there.
I don't know how a one sided beating could be considered a brutal bout. When both guys take punishment that is a really brutal fight. Clearly Ron Lyle vs Foreman should be on the list. Tommy Morrison vs Joe Hipp.
FOREMAN AND LYLE TOOK CARRER ENDING BLOWS IN THAT BATTLE. :nut I WOMDER IF IT IS ON THE INTERNET?:smoke
Oh yes. They both were brutal battles:smoke It makes one wonder what happen to Golota when he just gave up with Tyson and walked out :smoke
Jack Johnson vs Stanley Ketchel. This fight was supposedly dragged out with the agreement of both fighters. However, Ketchel got carried away and knocked Johnson down. BAD MISTAKE. Johnson got up off the canvas PISSED, and immediately knocked Ketchel out--along with his teeth! Check the fight out on Youtube. Awesome!
Brewster vs Liakhovich looked more like a street fight than a boxing match. It shortened both of their careers. They never recovered.
Vitali Briggs, Vitali Lewis Holyfield - Rahman REMEMBER THAT SWELLING? Jesus I thought an Alien tumor was going to burst out of that
Max Baer vs Frankie Cambell or Max Baer vs Ernie Shaaf? Is there even any footage of those fights? But you heard it was brutal right? So it must be true.
Sutherland vs Rainford.. One of the most brutal ko's ive ever seen especially considering Sutherlands granitr chin and sublime skillset
