Hes not that far from his prime at all. still excutes at a top notch level. im gonna say he's declined a little, not much at all. I thought his prime was the Gatti fight. I remember watching his reflexes like "thats the fastest i ever seen"

Physicaly id say his 80 percent prime

He still handidly beat al welterweight opponents but since his also out of his natural weight division he is further stunting himself

Hard to say. He's beating champions by an average margin of 117-111, so his prime may be on its last legs but it's holding up pretty damn well.

    He's 36..... certainly not prime.

Not as mobile, I don't care what anybody has said but the man has lost a step in my view. Makes up for it with toughness and smarts. Floyd is a lot stronger than people give him credit for. Don't get me wrong, he's a hell of an athlete and can still move well, but he's not the young man he once was.

Well.............Void still owns the judges, referee, commentators, etc., he can't lose a decision in Vegas, it's impossible....................so he still has an edge on everyone................

I would say he's the slowest opponent Floyd has faced in 5 years atleast.

He's definitely made up for some of his losses in speed etc but he isn't facing opponents that exploit those declines yet. Mind you I don't think anyone out there will except possibly broner

    :think...Nope
Time is the one that will KO us all bro. I would say Floyd has lost 15 percent due to fighting less and 20 percent to Father Time.:smoke

If it was 50 percent then he would have to fight BUMS NOW:patsch

I say he's 75% of what he used to be , he's still very formidable and Canelo no matter how big he gets the day of fight night , he's going to be in for a very frustrating fight . May the best man win

He wasn't at his prime against Oscar or Hatton. Floyd is not a Welterweight fighter in his prime, he's a much smaller man coming from several weight classes underneath that.

His absolute prime was in 130 lbs, but he was pretty much destroying everyone at the lower weights and for him to get a big money fight, he had to continue going up divisions to take on Marquee names.

I'd say his last true fight where he was still in the peak of his prime was against Arturo Gatti at Junior Welter. Go watch that fight again and than you should know you can't boast a claim that Floyd was prime when he was up at Welter because it's just not true. His Boxing IQ, technical ability and elite defense is what has kept him undefeated at the higher weight classes with him well past his prime.

It's not wise for him to fight bigger guys like Cotto and Alvarez. In those middle rounds against Cotto Floyd looked mortal. His footwork and speed have noticeably gone down. With that said, I think he'll still beat Alvarez UD
