Don't know if this has been posted but I subscribe to the V2 Boxing podcasts and they had Fury on last night. Not a bad interview and Tyson was down to earth and honest about his chances against Haye. Says the fight to be signed by the end of the week. Talks about the 80% purse. Says Haye and Booth want to control everything and are driving a hard bargain, not surprising

Here's the podcast link, interview starts at 25.30 mins:

Yeah the bit where he talks about Haye being a heavier puncher, quicker, a better mover, fitter etc took me by surprise. Fury's game plan being to throw the kitchen sink at Haye for 5 rounds trying to bully him would make a great fight. Fury reckons if he doesn't have Haye out of there in 5 rounds he's done for and will get KO'd.

I thought he may opt for the long game, jab and move.

Tyson's got more sides to his personality than a Rubik's cube, that's the problem. Saying he's told Peter he doesn't want to box, just bang was hilarious.

Don't care what he says, the public perception of him is clearly weighing heavily on his mind.

Could of course be mind games,he may be daft but he's not thick. he knows ppl will be expecting him to use his size and reach to keep Haye away so to say he will basically go windmilling for 5 rounds gets Hayes camp possibly second guessing and the fans hoping for a tear up,excited

I will not be surprised if Fury were to knock Haye out. Haye was knocked out by a cruiserweight, has a glass jaw, can't fight for 3 minutes per round, bad balance, wide punches. I think Fury sees something or he would never have taken the fight. Pulev is a much better fighter than Haye. Watch Haye vs. Vlad. If Fury fights smart, he can win the fight. I hope USTV does not boycott such a fight...........

Yeah your right does see something! that something being 5 million! Why do people compare Fury to Wlad? Wlad is 3 times better then Fury and in regards to him being knocked out by Carl Thompson? Yes he was but that didnt eqaul him getting stopped by Valuev or Wlad did it?
And if i remember right Fury was on the floor rolling around after getting dropped by Cruiserweight Steve Cunnningham

Yeah I think the game plan would be to keep distance between himself and Haye as per Wlad's blueprint for beating Haye. I could see Fury trying to lean down and wrestle when Haye closes the space. We might get another fight were Haye drops to his knees every 30 seconds.

Then again I wouldn't be surprised if Fury went steaming in. It is kind of intriguing.

Fury admits in the interview he is only taking the fight for the money. He says belts and titles mean nothing to him its about the mulla, he wants the £5M and makes no bones about it.

There's no trash talking in the interview, to me he sounds a bit down, its a warts and all confessional really.

Haye gassed against Thompson. He wasn't knocked out. As for the fury fight, tyson has a chance if he keeps it at distance and keeps haye busy for 3 minutes a round. If he goes in all guns blazing he gets knocked out.
