Lennox Lewis is not even top 10. Ducked almost everybody when it mattered and picked his titles out of the trash can.
Never made fighter of the year of fight of the year in his life.

This man knows boxing. Lennox was boxing from the same time as Tyson, he is OLDER than Tyson and chose to duck Tyson from the 1980s until after every boxer imaginable wore him down and then fight him, WTF? Ducked foreman, ducked Holmes, ducked Holyfield and bowe when they were actually dangerous. Just let everyone beat the **** out of each other then decided to pop up and declare himself the best. Didn't even have 50 fights. Now Holyfield fought all the guys of the 90s when they were still dangerous, he didn't duck anyone and he won some and lost some but he came closest to beating them all of the 90s. I'd say Lennox was the best fighter of the 00s. He beat Klitschko good and K2 would probably never beat him given him how fat he was when he fought him and still stopped him in 6. People can say what they want, Vitali needed 70+ stitches, they could have fought 10 times, Vitali would still lose on cuts and would never finish a single fight. You don't need to give a guy 70 stitches to stop. Lennox fought just 2 rounds and Vitali face was falling off. Had Vitali fought 2 more rounds he'd probably just have gotten knocked out completly or have no face left. Wlad would just fall over from his glass chin.

I will explain it, utter ignorance and no boxing knowledge. Lennox has 42 fights, 1 draw, 2 where he was knocked out by bums in under 5 rounds. And this was when he was at his best. Ali has 60+ fights in the toughest era of boxing. He beat everyone around even when he was the underdog, old, out of shape and expected to lose. He was never knocked out and never was down for more than a 5 count. In fact usually when he was knocked down it involved him stepping back and already being off balance. When Lennox was knockedown he needed help walking out the ring by a c rate fighter called mccall and had a nice ring nap when rockman but him to sleep.

    Clearly Lennox is better :hey

Simple Ali fought Frazier, and Foreman, and won. Norton who is fvck all special arguably beat him in their fights but was given the thumbs down. Spinks who was completely useless beat him. Holmes who is a very good but not ATG Heavy humiliated Ali, and to think that any version of Lewis could lose to a garbage fighter like Berbick is idiocy.

Other than that Ali's legacy is based on beating bums and has beens.

Fvcking idiot Yanks who go on about Lewis losing to Rahman and McCall always make me laugh, because they conveniently always want to forget Ali losing to that silly little 12 fight novice Spinks. There is no way in hell Lewis could lose to **** like that if he dropped his hands, closed is eyes and demanded Spinks kept punching him until his arms ached.

Anyone who knows anything at all about Lennox ( Yanks automatically disqualified ) knows that his major fault was his arrogance. He genuinely knew that all American heavies were inferior to him, so he often didn't bother training properly for them. When he did, they got either comprehensively outboxed, or KTFO.

As I've said before I can see pre 67 Ali standing a chance against Lewis. The post 70 version is mere cannon fodder for LL.

    1. Ali
    2. Louis

My rankings from that point tend to chop and change but the top two are locked in.

You would be hard pushed to find a better instance of typical American revisionist lies anywhere on the internet than this garbage.

Fact. Tyson the coward paid Lewis step aside money to fight the spastic ( heart problems allegedly ) Holyfield.

Fact. Bowe the coward dumped his belts rather than face the guy who KHTFO in the ama's.

Fact. Foreman wanted NO PART of Lewis during his second reign in the Heavies.

Fact. Holyfield was the holder of the 3 belts to Lewis's 1. It was him avoiding Lewis until he was forced to make the fight.

Yeah, as far as lying drivel goes, your post is right up there with the Weapons of Mass Destruction horse ****.

Some of the dumbest **** I've ever read. You sound like one of the Klitschko lovers.

An old Evander Holyfield gave a prime Lennox Lewis ALL he could handle in the rematch. And lets not forget, Oliver McCall had Lennox standing on the corner of ***** street wearing high heels and holding a purse...

Are you SERIOUSLY try to use to Spinks and Holmes fights to support your argument? When Ali was practically a zombie, couldn't speak properly, and his Parkinson's had already heavily set in? Please log off and delete your account.

Ali was way old and well past his prime. He had near 70 fights by the time he was fighting spinks and berbick and holmes. He had also lost his drive to train, he was out partying and having fun and did the bear minimum never mind how fat he got. Had he fought today he'd not even be allowed in the ring for half those fights as he'd not pass the physical after the 3rd frazier, he was slurring speech, could talk straight, walk straight was getting fat and pissing blood.

When you barely have 40 fights you cannot realistically compare that to a man with near 70. Let Lennox have another 25 more fights then we will have a more fair comparasion, how many more hashim rockman and oliver mccall going to knock him out?

Lewis was so inactive in the ring it is hard to give him credit. He fought the least of any major fighter of his time. Mike Tyson went to jail for 5 years in his prime and still has 12 more fights than Lennox who was boxing before and AFTER Tyson. Had Ali stopped fighting at 42 fights he'd probably have no more than 1 loss. Same for Tyson. and foreman, and most other great boxers. Lennox has 2, so he is not great. Marciano fought 49 times and lost none. marciano started late and retired early, fought the best guys around, lost none and still has a way better record than lennox.

And if ali and lennox did fight all that would happen wouldbe lennox dropping his hands and closing his eyes as he gets strapped to the ambulance cart

You seem to know nothing about boxing. Lewis was given an offter of 4m by King to walk away from Tyson so Tyson could unify against Seldon. Lewis was set to make over 10million , his biggest payday and a shot at the title but chose the easy way out and walked away...He instead went on to fight nobody's Ireland and go life and death with Ray Mercer.

I have no problem with anyone rating Lennox Lewis as a top 3 of all time none whatsoever. It's your dismissal of Ali that makes you clueless.
