This is the truth right here. People are overrating the Guerrero win but forget that Guerrero was a lightweight just 3 fights ago and only beat some very limited welters. That fight might have made Floyd confident on taking on Canelo but he's in for a surprise come Sept. How would Canelo have done against Guerrero? He would have looked like a million bucks too. People fail to give Canelo any credit that's why so many people say it's going to be a wash. Canelo is a complete fighter, his defense is very underrated and he's very smart in the ring. I see a very hard fight for Floyd, wouldn't be surprised if he loses tbh.
Alvarez would have knocked Guerrero out!!! Golovkin is willing to fight Void at 154, but Void will never go near him.
Because he isn't facing prime greats like Oscar, Mosley, Trinidad, Tsyzu, Vargas, hell even Oba carr would have given Floyd fits in his prime. Floyd has a very easy time as he ages with no greats out there. Guerro, canelo? Come on. Canelo would get destroyed by Vargas and Ko'd by Tito inside 3 rounds
He's too slow and gasses. Come the 6th round on, Canelo is in for a world of hurt vs Floyd. I think floyd may KO him late rounds.
If Cotto put the hurt on may..Canelo will punch holes in him.. when a 22yr old star fights a 36 yr old star..i bet on the younger. when a blown up middle fights a solid middleweight...I bet on the middleweight when a guy likes to pot shot with his quick jab fights a guy who likes to throw fast combinations... I like the combo come night of the fight..May might be 155 pounds... Canelo might be 165 pounds... I like the bigger guy lastly... one guy has cherry picked his fights... not what he once was... his last fight was a decision over a pretty regular fighter VS a young beast, who's last win was against another young beast in Trout, who hasn't reached his peak yet and looks better and better each fight... easy decision... canelo wins

I would like most people pick Hearns, Leonard and probbly RobinsonI think while Robinson is beter at 147 his agrisive style can be taken advantage of by Mayweather, but this isn't a Mayweather vs. Robinson thread. If Robinson, Leonard or Hearns were to beat Mayweather. It would because they are better boxers than Mayweather. Don't blame age on the results.
to be fair he did try and get fights vs mosley and oscar in their primes, they wanted nothing to do with him
Oscar was 2 weight classes above him and always had huge fights in front of him with bigger names at the time. Floyd was pretty irrelevant during Oscar's prime
Keep in mind he had a lot of s--t on his mind going into jail i less than a month from the fight and he is mortal. I agree with him beating Alvarez ... Altough I see the ref stopping the fight ... Then Floyd will wil fight one more time in May
I defintiely think Canelo is a underated fighter as well, but thats why I see Floyd performing at his best that night.
And.................. He's facing the best possible opposition that is out right now so quit whining. He tried taking on Mosley and Oscar when they were prime but remember that old saying high risk/low reward. Believe it or not, not too many of the top guys were in a rush to take on Floyd. Can't blame him for being born in this era. And if you're talking prime for prime you can't make a case that he would lose to any of those fighters you mentioned.
And so many of his haters give him **** because he didn't face Mosley or Oscar in their prime even though he was pushing for a fight for years. Yep, it's all his fault for being ignored.
