Joseph Agbeko saying he's looking for a big fight at the super bantamweight in September mentioning Rigo, Donaire and Cruz. I think it would be a great fight for Frampton to look for in Belfast....any thoughts? Agbeko was due to fight IBF champ Romero live on HBO in August but Kiko Martinez will get a title shot instead.

He seems to be a tough lad. Lost 4 fights, all by decision (2 were MD) and all against undefeated fighters. Not too dissimilar a record to Kiko (pre The Jackal). I've no doubt Carl would handle him on the night, but Team Frampton may see it as high risk with no belt on the line? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes Agbeko is very tough, he has only lost to very good opponents and has avenged one of those defeats against Yonnhy Perez whilst Mares should have been disqualified against him in their first fight for low blows. It would be a serious test for Frampton but you may be right about it being too high risk with no reward other than a chance to send out a big statement if he was able to finish him.

    Cheers :good,
Dean really needs to push on now, not much point fighting 2-0 fighters in the future (I understand he had to do it here to actually get a fight). Unfortunately he's a man who falls into the 'who needs him' club.

Well hopefully he's kept active ,if fairly active wouldn't mind if it was 1-2 middle of the road opp then step right up!i believe he will only perform to ward in front of him!

Hmm, bad fight for McDonagh imo. JJ is a good fighter, pretty slick and has some lovely moves about him......however he's a Middleweight in truth, and Buglioni is a very big Super-Middleweight. On top of that Buglioni is a big puncher and JJ has shown vulnerability in his punch resistance before.
I just feel that even if he were to outbox Buglioni, he'd find it hard to get the decision anyway as Buglioni is one of ******'s main prospects.

Best of luck to the 2 lads though, would be great if either (or both) managed to pull off the upset.
