Could Malik Scott or Jennings beat Povetkin?

Povetkin would plow right over them.

 

I think Scott would beat him to the punch over and over again to get robbed of a win.

Jennings is another animal.

Against Fedosov, Jennings completely abandoned his jab and didnt put anything into his punches on the inside. Perhaps it was Fedos early body shots which cause Jennings to think too much before he loaded up. To be perfectly honest, I believe Jennings was lucky that Fedo walked into that counter uppercut.

For Jennings to beat potevtkin, he would have to impose his jab, long and strong. None of that pulling it shlt like he did vs Fedo. Until I see Jennings reassert his jab in a fight, I can't pick him to beat anyone in the top 20.:shock:

After watching DelBoy vs Scott, Ive gotta think that Potvetkin handles him and fairly easily.

Watching Scott completely dominate Tupou, Releford, and Glaskov gave me a healthy respect for this fresh and more focused Malik Scott.
BUT................I didnt see that fighter against Chisora. I saw a guy who completely bottled it from start to finish. Del plodded in begging to be tagged with a 3 peice, and Scott would touch him and let him tie up.

I dont get it. Still waiting for Scott to announce a return. Hopefully both he and Jennings bring 100% of their skill into training and into the ring in their return fights.

Otherwise, both are bound to be lower top 30s so long as they hang around.:think

 

Povetkin is in my opinion highly overrated.

He couldn't dominate the fights against Chambers and Chagaev, he showed that he is kind of featherfisted.

The fight against a limited street brawler named Huck showed all of us, that Povetkin is not as good as everyone thought. Arslan schooled Huck and other fighters also did before while Povetkin was struggling in his hardest fight of his life.

He won agaisnt a shot Rahman and against a glass jawed, glass hearted guy named Andrzej Wawrzyk, who is definetly one of the worst boxers of the past 20 years.

Povetkin could beat Scott easily, because he has also a glass chin but a fight against Jennings could be a upset. I think, Jennings might win through a late TKO or UD.

 

Scott is stopped mid fight; Jennings boxes but is overcome to a close UD loss.

Yes, yes they can. Povetkin is the most average undefeated fighter I've ever seen. The Russian queen of cherry pickers, always fights light punchers! Huck had him doing the fairy dance!
