At this point in time does it really matter. Castillo is washed up and Floyd is still going strong. If they were to fight right now Castillo will get the **** beat out of him. Let it go please.

If you think there was nothing wrong with the scoring in the first fight, please explain how the second fight was scored a closer fight! referee: Vic Drakulich | judge: Anek Hongtongkam 111-116 | judge: John Keane 111-115 | judge: Jerry Roth 111-115
    WBC lightweight title
eferee: Joe Cortez | judge: Ken Morita 113-115 | judge: Larry O'Connell 113-116 | judge: Daniel Van de Wiele 113-115
    WBC lightweight title

I had Castillo winning by 3 points..it was a clear win... I had even called my dad and told him..."May lost his first fight"..then the decision was anounced seconds later... Castillo was robbed ugly...wasn't even close

Mayweather won, and it wasn't as close as people make it out to be. The scoreing blows, you know the ones to the front of the head and upper body were overwhelmly scored by Mayweather. It's true that Castillio roughed him up, but look where his shots land. Mostly on Mayweather's back side, if at all.

Were conditioned to think the boxer with his back too the ropes is in trubble. How many times do we here things like. He needs to get off the ropes, or he needs to take the fight to the middle of the ring?

i was always under the impression you dont score shots that land on the shoulder or any other non scoring area... so aggression is not scored unless its effective...

    i scored it for maywether

and mayweather easily swept the rematch. without injury. people need to give props to floyd for taking the fight with a torn rotator. how many fights do we see get cancelled due to injury... he also deserves props for giving the rematch

Come on *****s, Floyd clearly lost. Even letterman, who can be wrong yes at times, scored it for Castillo by 115-111. Floyd lost the last 3 rounds to boot, was outlanded in power shots, roughed up, even lost a point for his dirty elbows. You have to just come clean and admit Floyd lost. I believe Floyd's hands were hurting and that is some of the reason he lost but he still lost. Admit it.

This lie that Floyd lost to Castillo was perpetuated by the pathetic scoring of Harold Lederman. The judging in this fight was correct. All you have to do is watch the fight. Castillo won 2 clear rounds and maybe 2 close rounds, that's it. Floyd used his forearm, Castillo hit low. The ref took the points. Castillo was aggressive, but it wasn't effective the whole fight.

This fight was a clear indicator as to why punch stats mean nothing. Nobody saw Castillo land more punches on Floyd than Floyd landed on him.
